Just before the start of the Summer holidays, as an Abu Dhabi baby photographer I was able to capture this very adorable baby boy. They are the first family were I have done all 3 newborn sessions for their beautiful babies. Returning clients are my favorite. Being an Abu Dhabi baby photographer I decided to only specialize in newborns, which means I do not have the opportunity to see the babies grow in their milestone sessions. When the families return with baby number one or two it means I am able to see the dramatic changes in the siblings from when they were just 2 weeks old. They walk in to my studio, mostly chatting away as little people and not tiny delicate babies.
Baby Caolan is going to be a very luck little boy, with two incredible sisters to take care of him. During the family images the girls were absolute stars, having the confidence and care to hold their little brother. A lot of siblings are still very nervous around the babies, and feel they will hurt them. My assistant is always close by to maintain safety and I encourage parents to help reassure the big brother or sister that they are doing a great job.
I loved the color scheme and props chosen for Caolan’s session. The little Hammock from Kelly Ryden & Tracy Raver photography is always a favourite. The babies, too, are big fans and always feel comfortable and settled when I use it. The adorable pillow and sleepy hat from Mokumba props complimented the hammock perfectly. This was probably my favorite set up from his session. The different variations of blue and white worked perfectly with Caolan’s skin tone. Baby blue is definitely the most chosen color for boys, so its always good for me to be a little more creative to make each session a little different.
